About Me:
As a young child I took art lessons in Windhoek for many years with Christine Marais (artist and illustrator). I continued with art throughout high school, attending the Frank Joubert Art School in Stellenbosch, and was awarded the Rhenish GHS matric art prize in 1980.
After a long break of 33 years I attended Lyn Northam's course in oil painting for beginners. I painted with Lyn and ger group for 2 years and have since been painting on my own. I have also done short courses with Mary Visser and Penny Steynor.
I enjoy painting in oil and acrylic and love to experiment with various styles and a variety of subjects. I get great enjoyment and satisfaction from being creative and completing a painting.
